Getting started
Welcome to the OSC quick start guide. This guide will walk you through the essential first steps to get started within Open Sovereign Cloud.
This guide is intended for Project Members who have received an account from the Realm Owner. Learn how to activate your account and sign in to the OSC Dashboard for the first time. A link to the OSC Dashboard will be provided by OSC via email.
Your first steps
Activate your OSC account
The first thing you need to do is create your personal OSC user account. To do so, follow the instruction on How to activate your account.
Access your environment
Once your account is created and you have activated multi-factor authentication (MFA), you can access your environment. There are three key components of OSC that you can access depending on your user rights. Follow the instructions on How to access your environment.
Create a user
Once you have logged in to your OSC environment, you can:
- Create a user or
- Assign a user assign a user the admin role within the corresponding project.

Create a project
Now you can create a new project.
Create a Shoot cluster
You are now ready to create your first Shoot. Follow the instructions on How to create a Shoot cluster and learn more on how to access or delete it.
